This work by Gregory Fritze was the winner of the inaugural BrookWright International Brass Ensemble Composition Contest 2021, adjudicated by Dr Liz Lane, James Curnow and Paul Hindmarsh. It is a short jazz composition for brass quintet written in the style of the 'Cool' jazz era of the 1950s in New York City. The flexible instrumentation means it is playable by a wide range of ensembles.
